Unforgettable Kymijoki River Valley cycling route
Explore the mighty Kymijoki River from the back of a bike! It flows majestically through the east coast in five branches. Along the way you’ll find large paper mills, small rural villages, and many beautiful rapids and river landscapes. In Kotka, the southern part of the route, cyclists can visit historic sites and award-winning parks. It is also worth cycling by the sea, once you’ve come this far. At the return of the route, it takes you to Pyhtää and Loviisa, and there a visit to Valkmusa National Park and the idyllic Strömfors ironworks area are recommended.
