Kotka Sapokka Service Marina

Kotka’s centre of sea-themed summer activities, harbour for small boats and piers for scheduled archipelago boats are on the southern shore of the inner city, in Sapokanlahti, which is a bay protected by breakwaters.

Boat berths and fees: The berths for visiting boats, which are clearly marked with blue signs, are on the port side when entering the harbour. A total of 58 berths, including finger berths and side-on mooring, are reserved for visiting boats. The water depth varies between two and five metres, depending on the location of the berth. During the holiday season, the local sailing and boating club, Kotkan Pursiseura, offers additional berths for visiting boats in the club’s piers.

The boat berth fee, which includes the use of the harbour services, is €25 per overnight stay. The fee for side-on mooring starts at €50 per overnight stay. The parking fee for boats, €10 per night, does not include electricity or the use of other guest harbour services.

Guest harbour services: Café, restaurant, summer terrace, grill or mini grocery store, WiFi, bicycle rental, chemical toilet emptying, septic tank pump out, household waste management, showers, toilets, laundry room, washing machine, tumble dryer, drying cabinet, a sauna by the beach and an opportunity to go swimming. 

The breakwater pier has septic tank emptying and a water station, and fuel (95, 98, diesel) can be purchased 24/7 from a fuel dispenser with a card reader. Ramps for launching boats can be found in the guest harbour area and at the end of Sapokanlahti bay.
