Eija's Garden

Welcome to the English-style adventure garden in the village of Ahvenkoski, Loviisa! Eija’s Garden has its roots in the 1860s, when a farmstead was built on the plot. Gradually, the garden grew around the farm, eventually reaching its current heyday. In addition to the garden, Eija’s Garden is home to a garden centre. Eija’s Garden is guided by a love of gardening that respects nature and a desire to offer guests beauty and a peaceful atmosphere.

When you enter the garden you can’t miss the huge Ice Age colonial boulders. Around them spreads a varied plant colourfulness, alternating between more disciplined sections and completely natural areas. And don’t forget the charming small theme gardens, where there’s always something new to admire.

Eija’s Garden is the perfect destination for a day trip alone, with a friend or group, a workplace retreat, a guided sensory walk, a picnic, or just a coffee in an incredibly beautiful setting.
