Hamina Marketplace – well, that is something!
The acclaimed market at Hamina Market Square is guaranteed to exude genuine and traditional market feeling and memorable cheapjacks' chit-chat. There is buying, selling and, first of all, exchange of news. The area of the market square is one of the largest in Finland and brings people together
five times a year. The market will have on sale everything you can imagine, not forgetting delicious organic and local food produce.
The square used to be a pesäpallo pitch, and the shape is still distinguishable – you can buy bread at the first base, flowers at the second and fish at the third!
Five markets annually
and an evening market with programme
on summer Fridays (May–August)
