Hamina Tattoo International Military Music Festival

The international Hamina Tattoo is a military music festival which has already become a tradition. The historical fortress town of Hamina creates a magnificent setting for the event. During the Tattoo week, the streets and parks of the town are filled with audiences which can enjoy the concerts, parade and fantastic March Shows by the military bands.

The next Hamina Tattoo festival will take place 30. Jul - 4. Aug 2018.  Ticket sales for the event begins on 1st of December 2017 by ticket sales service.

Best bands from around the world!  - The official representatives of their countries are Military Band of H.M Royal Marechaussee from the Netherlands, Band of His Majesty Kings Guard from Norway, Band of Her Majesty Royal Marines from Great Britain, Quantico Marine Corps Band from the USA, Representative Band of The Ministry of Defence from Russia, Heeresmusikkorps Kassel from Germany, Traditional Army Band from South Korea and all the Finnish Military Bands will arrive in Hamina.

Hamina Tattoo, the International Military Music Festival, is filled with interesting events which take place within a walking distance from each other. During the event week, you can enjoy great free concerts in Kesäpuisto Park, Tattoo Parade at the Town Hall Square, and the stalls and musical performances of the Tattoo Street. The Tattoo Club at the Market Place offers a daily programme for both children and adults. The warm August evening will also take you to the Jazz Palace. Moreover, you can stroll around and get to know the old private gardens within the fortress area. Many of the gardens are accessible to the public during the festival. The week culminates with the March Shows in the event arena Hamina Bastion. There are also many other things going on in Hamina, from a daily market to art exhibitions. You will enjoy yourself in Hamina Tattoo throughout the day!
