Welcome to study at South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences! We are an inspiring, multidisciplinary university with many international activities.

In particular, we focus on Logistics, Health Promotion and International Business. Employment prospects for our graduates are good.

The campuses are located in Kotka and Kouvola, only about 130 km from Helsinki along with Mikkeli and Savonlinna. 


Etelä-Kymenlaakso Vocational College (Ekami) is a multi-disciplinary education institution with over 7,000 students. The College organises vocational basic education and training for 2,1000 students in Kotka and Hamina, on the south-eastern coast of Finland. Vocational adult education and apprenticeship training are both flexibly organized to meet the needs of the working life. The College has approx. 5,500 students participating in adult education and apprenticeship training. Ekami’s “Coastal Workshops” annually organise workshop activities for over 500 young people in Kotka, Hamina, Pyhtää, Miehikkälä, and Virolahti.
